As a 22-year-old, Lorraine Senard Pereira took over the estate from her father in 2000. 2002 white was her first independent harvest, followed by the reds in 2005. Indeed, her wines do differ from those of her father, Philippe Senard. Today, those wines are markedly softer and more harmonious. Today, Comte Senard once again offers the ample assurance of a true high-class Burgundy. Lorraine Senard produces about six grands crus from the Corton hillside, of which the monopole Clos de Meix, with 1.64 ha, offers the highlight result.
The best located area of the Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru , below the Corton "Les Bressandes", whose complexity and elegance can be found here. Red fruit aromas are very present in this wine. Lorraine's favourite wine with the most energy.
