Les Macherelles is one of the premier plots of Chassagne-Montrachet, situated on a southeast-facing vineyard with limestone-rich, well-draining soils. The wines are renowned for their finesse and harmony, with a subtle balance between power and elegance. Rich aromas of white flowers, ripe peach, and gentle minerality are complemented by a delicate buttery note and a long, rounded finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested and fully vinified in oak barrels (partially new), with careful fermentation and aging to preserve the purity and expression of the terroir.
An elegant and expressive Premier Cru that beautifully reflects the character of Chassagne-Montrachet and evolves wonderfully both in its youth and after several years of aging.
