Productinformation
Wines from Corton-Charlemagne are among the best white wines from Burgundy and are known for their combination of fruit flavors and minerality. The latter is especially pronounced in wines from the cooler western slopes.
The wine matures for 16 months in oak barrels, 50% of which are new. A beautiful balance of elegance, richness, finesse, and power wrapped in a seductive package.
Corton-Charlemagne is one of the most expensive white wines in the world, although it is not yet as costly as its counterparts from the Côte de Beaune.
