Productinformation

As a 22-year-old, Lorraine Senard Pereira took over the estate from her father in 2000. 2002 white was her first independent harvest, followed by the reds in 2005. Indeed, her wines do differ from those of her father, Philippe Senard. Today, those wines are markedly softer and more harmonious. Today, Comte Senard once again offers the ample assurance of a true high-class Burgundy. Lorraine Senard produces about six grands crus from the Corton hillside, of which the monopole Clos de Meix, with 1.64 ha, offers the highlight result.

One of the few red wines produced in the "Charlemagne" area, normally reserved for Chardonnay. Considered a curiosity and full of charm and enthusiasm. This Corton is a red grand cru from a terroir normally used for white wine (Chardonnay) and is very similar in style to Volnay. Aged for 2-3 years in the cellar.
