The family estate is located in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet. Domaine Blain-Gagnard owns about 8 hectares, most of which are in Chassagne-Montrachet. The wines are exciting, refreshing and have wonderful balance. They are characteristic of the region and therefore an example for others to follow. Domaine Blain-Gagnard's wines are among the favourites of many wine lovers and ourselves. They are therefore highly sought after.
Puligny's special terroir gives its wines a subtle distinction from its neighbours Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault, which lie directly south and north respectively. Wines from Puligny are said to have a greater mineral influence and a firmer structure than the more accessible wines from Chassagne and the more perfumed wines from Meursault.
