Productinformation
This lieu-dit is located halfway up the slope of Pommard at around 290 meters in elevation, overlooking the premier cru vineyards of Charmots and Pézerolles. Its southeast-facing orientation ensures optimal sunlight exposure, with morning and early afternoon sun promoting ideal ripening conditions.
The soil is shallow and composed of clay-limestone. The vineyard was originally planted with walnut trees, hence the name “Noizons” (from noyer, French for walnut). The vines are on average 40 to 45 years old, contributing to excellent concentration.
Deep ruby in color, this wine is powerful and well-structured. Ripe red fruit is complemented by notes of leather, forest floor, and refined spice, offering balance and an elegant character. The tannins are firm yet fine, with a long, spicy finish.
