This Pouilly-Fuissé is made from plots in the towns of Vergisson and Solutré. The plots cover an area of 3-4ha. Many vines are more than 50 years old but how many of these grapes are used depends on the vintage and associated conditions.

Alcoholic fermentation mostly takes place in large oak barrels, the rest in 228L barrels but to keep the fruit aromas pure no new oak is used, a small proportion may be fermented on stainless steel in some years. Indigenous yeast is used and the MLF is spry and complete. The wine matures for 10-14 months on lees(lie) and is assembled and bottled between July and November is the year after harvest.

The wine in bright and straw yellow in colour. In the nose lots of fruit think ripe apple and peach, floral notes (hawthorn, linden) with some sweet spice. On the palate there is a roundness, enhanced by a pleasant freshness in the finish.
