A recent addition to our range. Domaine Michele & Patrice Rion, own 9 hectares of land in the Côte de Nuits and have had a négociant house called; SARL Patrice Rion since 2000. Besides their elegant red wines, Patrice Rion also produces a refined white Nuits-Saint-Georges 'Les Terres Blanches' made from 90% chardonnay and 10% pinot blanc.

Within the red Nuits-Saint-Georges, we see the biggest difference between the two premier crus. Patrice Rion started with 1 hectare of Clos des Argillières, an area that produces a lighter and softer pinot noir than the Clos St-Marc. Within this area there is proportionally more marl and there are older vines (between 60 and 80 years old), the wines often take a little longer but once present the wines are generous and expressive. We proudly present this domain to the Dutch top gastronomy.
