Productinformation
This cuvée is made from five terroirs located in the four corners of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation (Les Mal Carrées, Les Maladières, Derrière le Four, Les Fremières, and Les Gamaires) and is a fine expression of the texture and typicity of Chambolle-Musigny wines. The vines, planted between 1952 and 1963, give this wine excellent length and concentration.
The vines grow in relatively deep soils, with some limestone covered by a significant layer of fine clay, which gives the wine its elegance.
Here too, the harvest is done by hand, with 40% whole bunches. Long fermentation with gentle extraction. Aging for 18 months in 30% new oak.
Delicate notes of red fruit (raspberry, redcurrant, cherry), flowers (violet and rose), and white pepper. The wine is supple and structured with fine tannins, has a long finish, and is driven by very well-controlled acidity, ensuring excellent aging potential.
