Domaine Comte Senard has a rich family history dating back to 1857. In this year, Jules Senard founded the estate and created the estate's monopole vineyard; Corton Clos des Meix. Over time, there have been many changes until now. Currently Lorraine, since she was 22, runs the domain with a mindset inspired by the older generations. The aim is to produce a Corton that is deep, intense and powerful with an elegant edge. It is an imposing estate and you notice that when you step inside, a beautiful house with phenomenal views but with a family atmosphere. At the moment, it is one of the few domains that produces white Corton and can also offer older vintages.

Domaine Comte Senard owns about 10 hectares of vineyards mainly around the Corton hill. The domain produces in a classic manner, seeking the best technique and wood application every year. In general, the grand cru's have had 18 months of wood. The results are wines with rich undertones and pure character. The elegance that is clearly present is noted by many and is why the domain is so highly praised.
