Productinformation
The Saint-Joseph Blanc "Cranilles" is a classic blend of 60% Roussanne and 40% Marsanne, sourced from a selection of vineyard parcels on the granite-rich slopes surrounding Chavanay, in the northern part of the Saint-Joseph appellation. All grapes are harvested by hand to ensure that only perfectly ripe fruit is selected.
After harvest, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15–16°C. This cool fermentation preserves the freshness, aromatic purity and elegance of the fruit.
The wine is then aged for 7 to 8 months on its fine lees in old 228-litre French oak barriques. The use of mature oak barrels adds texture and complexity without allowing the wood to dominate the wine. The result is an elegant and harmonious Saint-Joseph Blanc, combining ripe white fruit, delicate floral aromas and subtle minerality with a fresh, refined and lingering finish.
