Productinformation
This wine comes from Vosne-Romanée, sourced from a parcel with vines around 45 years old, planted with 100% Pinot Noir. The terroir consists of a mix of limestone and clayey marls, with soil depth varying from a few dozen centimeters to about one meter, and an east-facing exposure that promotes slow, elegant ripening.
The vineyard is managed according to integrated pest management practices and non-certified biodynamic cultivation. After careful green harvesting, the grapes are hand-picked. Winemaking begins with a cold pre-fermentation maceration, using either destemmed grapes or whole clusters, depending on the vintage. The vatting period lasts approximately fifteen days.
The wine is then aged for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels, with 30% new oak, providing structure and complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit. In the glass, this Vosne-Romanée reveals a rich bouquet of red and dark fruits on a spicy background, with notes of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. The subtle, integrated aromas are enhanced by velvety and refined tannins, resulting in a perfectly balanced wine with harmonious texture, elegant structure, and a silky, lingering finish.
