Productinformation
This fantastic Bourgogne Blanc is made from grapes sourced from four lieux-dits: Champs Gauthey, Les Riaux, Les Equinces, and L'Orme Les Bergeries — all located southwest of Meursault and Chassagne. The total vineyard area covers just under 2 hectares. The vines are on average 19 years old and grow on limestone-clay soil.
This delicious Bourgogne Pinot Noir is made from grapes from four lieux-dits: Les Champans (Puligny), Le Frêne Nord, Les Equinces (Meursault), and Le Pré la Dame (Puligny). The total surface area is 1.2 hectares. The vines are old, averaging 41 years, and are also rooted in limestone-clay soil.
The grape bunches are 100% destemmed, followed by a 6-day cold soak and a 15-day alcoholic fermentation. The wine is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new. It is then racked and blended in stainless steel tanks, 5 months before bottling.
The result is a fresh and fruity wine with plenty of red fruit and an elegant, subtle structure.
