Productinformation
A tribute to the sensuality and richness of Viognier from the Northern Rhône. Sourced from approximately 30-year-old vines planted on the appellation's characteristic granite soils, the low yields of 35 to 40 hectolitres per hectare ensure remarkable concentration and expressive aromatics. Every grape is carefully selected to reveal the purest expression of the terroir.
After harvest, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature of 16°C, followed by malolactic fermentation. During ageing, the wine is regularly stirred on its lees (bâtonnage), adding extra creaminess, depth and complexity.
The wine is then aged for eight months, with 80% in French oak barriques and 20% in stainless steel tanks. This combination of oak and stainless steel creates a perfect balance between structure, freshness and fruit expression.
In the glass, the wine displays a golden-yellow colour. The nose is powerful yet refined, revealing aromas of white flowers, violets and ripe apricot. The palate is rich, full-bodied and creamy while remaining completely dry. A broad spectrum of floral aromas is complemented by ripe fruit notes and a long, elegant finish.
An elegant Condrieu that perfectly combines richness with precision.
