Domaine Didier Morion cultivates its vineyards on the characteristic steep terraced slopes (chaillets) of Chavanay in the Northern Rhône. This exceptional terroir provides ideal conditions for producing both dry and sweet white wines. For its Saint-Joseph AOP, the estate blends Roussanne and Marsanne, while Viognier is used for its IGP wine and, of course, the renowned Condrieu AOP.
The estate also grows Syrah, the flagship red grape variety of the Northern Rhône, on these same steep slopes. All grapes are harvested, vinified, aged, and bottled entirely at the estate. The result is a range of powerful yet refined Saint-Joseph AOP wines, alongside a characterful IGP wine with intense and elegant aromas.
