Lieu-dit ‘Grange Basse’. Just a few meters south of the Côte-Rôtie border. Vinified in Saury Barriques 228l.
“This terroir is ideal for Syrah. This cuvée is characterised by it’s deep aromatics. It’s a mix of black fruit aroma’s, cassis, bramble and sweet spice. On the palate the wine is silky and smooth, with a fresh and peppery finish. It’s a wine that is very approachable now, but one that willl gain complexity with some years of ageing.”
